AMD Sells AMD-branded RAM; Will Still be Compatible with Intel

Are you an AMD fan? Do you exclusively use AMD CPUs and GPUs? Now you can add AMD RAM to your rig as well. Anandtech reports that AMD has launched their own line of system memory. The company will have three lines in the family: Entertainment, Ultra Pro Gaming, and Enterprise. All three will have the same capacity at 2GB using the DDR 3 form factor with the only difference will be the speed. the Entertainment will have the slowest speed at 1333Mhz and the Ultra Pro Gaming will sport 1600MHz. The speed of the Enterprise line has yet to be announced.

Can’t wait to get your hands on these AMD-branded RAM? Well, you’ll need to travel to Japan, Akihabara to be precise as they have already been spotted being sold there.
