At the end of its press conference at the 2011 Gamescom in Germany, Sony announced that it has dropped the price of its PlayStation 3 console worldwide. This means that the Sony console will be sold at $249 in the States, €249 in Europe, and 24,980 Yen in Japan.
As the only gaming console sold locally, will we see a similar price drop? Currently the PlayStation 3 is being sold in our shores for less than PhP20,000. Will we see the price drop to PhP2,490? Highly doubtful but we can always dream can’t we?
