As our previous post, the true successor to the original 7” Galaxy Tab has finally been unveiled at this year’s IFA conference. As the name suggest it is larger by 0.7” from the original Galaxy Tab. It also uses the company’s Super AMOLED Plus display for vibrant colors as well as a slightly higher resolution at 1280×800. The original Galaxy Tab came with 1280×600 resolution.
Aside from the display upgrade, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a 1.4GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB RAM and a miniSD card slot for up to 32GB capacity. It will also have a 2MP front- and 3MP with LED flash rear- facing camera. Connectivity will come with WiFi N and HSPA+ 21Mbps. This means that you will be able to make voice and video calls (we assume with a Bluetooth or wired headset).
On the software front, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 will come with Android 3.2 Gingerbread with Samsung’s Touchwiz UX.
