And now for something a little bit different.

While most vehicles today allow you to connect your smartphone to listen to your tunes or answer calls via the vehicle’s audio system, things are a little bit different with the vehicles from Japanese manufacturer, Kowa Tmsuk. Their latest concept vehicles (two single-seaters and a two-seater), the Kobot, debuted at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. The Kobot concept are Electric Vehicles that are designed to navigate within cities and towns. Not only integrates futuristic design and high technology but also uses one’s smartphone to wirelessly interact with the Kobot such as remotely tuning the vehicles from the secure, park-mode to drive-mode as you approach the vehicles.

Kowa Tmsuk is a joint venture between Kowa, a medical instrument manufacturer and Tmsuk, a robot manufacturer. Their aim is to create environmentally-friendly vehicles with their EV concepts and even proposing “communal car-sharing in urban areas”.
