This weekend, OtterBox is at Rockwell, Power Plant Mall to let people see for themselves the protection that OtterBox can provide for their mobile devices. Starting today, until Sunday, March 18, OtterBox is showcasing four of their product lines, the Defender, Commuter, Reflex, and Impact at the North Court of the Power Plant Mall.

The Defender series provides maximum protection for your mobile devices such as your smartphone or tablet. It is a rugged case made of a clear protective membrane, high-impact polycarbonate shell and durable silicone. The Defender provides protection against, scratches, dust, drops, bumps, and shock. It is composed of a screen protector, inner layer made of high-impact polycarbonate shell, and outer layer made from durable silicone skin.

The Commuter series offers a smaller form factor than the Defender while still providing enough protection for your mobile devices. It is composed of a screen protection film for the display, an inner layer made out of durable silicone, and a custom molded polycarbonate shell outer layer.

The Reflex series is an integrated polycarbonate and rubber case that offers maximum protection in the smallest and most slim-fitting form. Surrounding each device with a cushion of air, the case flexes upon impact and rebounds to its original form. The Reflex is composed of a screen protector and the integrated polycarbonate and rubber casing.

The Impact series is composed of a screen protector and silicone case with inner coring that dissipates shock away from your device. The Impact series provides protection against scratches, bumps, and shock.

Opening the OtterBox Drop Test Tour is Josh Richardson, Otterbox Business Development Head for Asia Pacific, and Jay Tengco, President of Tenkie Box explaining the brand as well as the different OtterBox products.

Also in attendance are OtterBox brand ambassadors, Celebrity and TV Host, Rovilson Fernandez and Bull Runner/Dedicated Mother, Jaymie Pizarro telling anecdotes of how their OtterBoxes has saved their smartphones. They also risked their own phones as they intentionally drop their phones on the OtterBox platform.

I got the last minute sale on the last day and last hour. Duped by the pretty promo girls. Now my GT-P1000 is all snug in it’s own otterbox. Didn’t get to try the drop test but instead I shot mine with airsoft pistols. All good. =D
