Here in the Philippines, we have a limited number of Windows Phone smartphones in the market. In fact, there are only two brands that offer Windows Phones, LG and HTC. However, only HTC with their Radar are the only ones that offer the latest Mango update of Windows Phone.
Samsung on the other hand offers Windows Phone smartphones, including the Samsung Omnia W with the Mango update, are not officially sold here.
However, it looks like the Korean Electronics Company, is moving on ahead to the next version of Windows Phone as early as October. According to Unwired View, Samsung Taiwan has confirmed that it will launch a Windows Phone 8 device by the second half of this year. The October prediction comes with the assumption that Microsoft will announce Windows Phone 8 (Apollo) by then.
