On April 21 at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium, LG launched its latest Android phone, the Optimus L3 to the public. Along for the ride were LG’s latest Celebrity Ambassadors, TV Sweetheart, Coleen Garcia and UAAP Basketball Star, Kiefer Ravena.

LG Mobile is proud to have them as its ambassadors for its latest Android smartphone, the Optimus L3. We believe that their cool, confident personalities best represent what the Optimus L3 is all about.” Said Faith Mijares, Product Marketing Manager for LG Mobile Philippines.
The Optimus L3 features a 3.2” capacitive screen with a QVGA (240×320) display. The L3 also features a Cortex A5 running at 800MHz with 1GB storage plus 150MB for Apps and up to 32B of expandable storage with the its MicroSD card slot. The smartphone is running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Connectivity comes through its WiFi-N, Bluetooth 3.0 EDR, USB 2.0, and of course, 3G. As for multimedia, the L3 comes with a 3.14MP camera that can also record VGA video at 30fps as well as audio playback and an FM receiver.
LG also announced that for one hour after the launch (from 5pm to 6pm), it is selling the Optimus L3 for PhP1,000 less and with a free Jelly Case for the phone. The promo was held at the LG Concept Stores in SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia with each of LG’s Ambassadors in either store to congratulate new owners of the Optimus L3.
The LG Optimus L3 (E400) Android smartphone is already available for PhP5,990.
