Home Theater PC enthusiasts have another option in creating their all-in-one HTPC. Giada has announced its MI-HM65T Mini ITX motherboard. The board supports Intel’s Sandy Bridge i5 and i3 processors as well as the lower power Celeron 867. Since the Sandy Bridge CPUs have their own GPU within, you get the benefit of FullHD 1080p video playback without the need of discrete video as well as Intel’s Quick Sync technology to significantly speed up video conversions with supported software.
Based on the HM65 Express chipset, the MI-HM65T has one slot for a SO-DIMM DDR3 1066MHz/1333MHz RAM, 2x SATA III ports, a MiniPCIe, and an mSATA slot for mSATA SSD. Ports abound with 6x USB 2.0, Gigabit LAN, S/PDIF, HDMI, VGA, audio jack, and a DC-in Power Jack.
All in a 17cm x 17cm form factor.
