At Computex 2012 in Taiwan, Acer unveiled their next generation Ultrabook, the Aspire S7. The Aspire comes in two models, an 11.6″ model and a 13.3″ model.

Along with the increase in number from the S5, Acer has also upped the style and design of the their Aspire Ultrabook. The S7 comes in a sleek aluminum unibody. The 13.3″ model has a glass cover similar to the HP Spectre Ultrabook.

Acer is touting 12 hours of battery life for the 13.3″ model, while the 11.6″ model gets 9 hours of battery life.

The Acer S7 Ultrabooks are being demoed at Computex with Windows 8 installed. The displays on both models also touch-enabled in order to take advantage of Windows 8 touch features. Another addition to the S7 that wasn’t in the S5 is a back-lit keyboard.

Acer hasn’t announced full specs, availability, and prices for both models of the Acer Aspire S7. We expect that Acer Philippines will announce and launch the Aspire S7 when it becomes available.
