A couple of weeks back, Nokia held one of the biggest gadget launches in at least a couple years. The Lumianation launch celebrated the arrival of Nokia’s line of Windows Phones known at the Lumia. However, out of the four phones in the line, their top-of-the-line model, the Lumia 900 was missing in action…

…until today. Nokia officially announced that the Lumia 900 smartphone is available in select Nokia, Smart, and Globe stores nationwide.

Priced at PhP27,990, the Nokia Lumia 900 is Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone smartphone. It has a 4.3″ touch screen display featuring Nokia’s own ClearBlack technology that they say enhances color¬†vibrancy¬†and the ability to see the screen in bright sunlight. The 1.4GHz processor combined with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) OS give the Lumia 900 a snappy user experience.

Nokia is also touting the available apps for the Lumia which includes the MMDA app for Windows Phones, ABS-CBN New, iTyphoon to monitor typhoon activity in the Philippines’ AoR as well as numerous games available for Windows Phones. There are also Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive which are exclusive to Lumia phones pre-installed.

Included with every Lumia 900 smartphone is a Nokia Purity Headset by Monster.

Thank you for mentioning iTyphoon in your Nokia Lumia 900 article. Helps promote our effort to reach more Filipinos (especially that the app is free).
