For the brave among us who are willing to skirt the dangerous line of the safe and unsafe on the Internet, Trend Micro is releasing the beta release of their upcoming Titanium 13 series of security software. These includeTrend Micro Titanium Maximum Security 2013, Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2013, and Trend Micro Titanium for Mac 2013.
Myla Pilao, director for core technologies at Trend Micro said, “the way we use the Web has changed. No longer are we tied to a desktop, conducting business transactions from one place. Titanium 2013 is designed to protect consumers on a multitude of platforms as they navigate through their digital worlds.”
While getting free security software may seem appealing, remember that these are beta versions of the software. This means that there are still bugs that might render your PC or Mac unusable. One wouldn’t install ANY beta software to critical machines unless they know what they are doing.
On the other hand, those brave enough to test the latest Titanium 13 software can awarded gifts from Trend Micro if they find the most critical bugs in the beta releases.
