As we do more and more things digitally, there is one thing that most people don’t do that is essential – backing up their files. Investing on a storage medium, whether a second (or third) hard drive or piles of DVDs of second copies of your precious data can go a long way when recovering from a crashed hard drive–which WILL eventually happen.
It is understandable that many don’t regularly back up, it takes a lot of time and effort to do it. Fortunately, Seagate has taken all the hassle out of backing up with its new Backup Plus external hard drives. The hard drive, paired with Seagate’s Dashboard software allows for one-click backup of your data including those from your social networks such as Facebook and Flickr.
The Seagate Backup Plus external hard drives are already available locally through select retail stores and will initially be sold in 500GB and 1TB capacities which costs PhP4,100 and PhP5,495 respectively.
