ScanEye is a new site that ominously knows what you’ve been downloading on BitTorrent and straight up shows it to you. This is a good reminder to keep your activities private and away from prying eyes.
ScanEye scans your IP address and matches it against its own database of torrents, then gives you a list of torrents that you may have recently downloaded. Scanning won’t be 100% accurate, considering users with dynamic IP addresses may get different results, but it still is unnerving that there’s a possibility that someone may be watching. If you use BitTorrent, it wouldn’t hurt to be a bit more on the safe side and find ways to keep your torrenting private.
