With the rise of smartphones we’ve seen the steady decline of point-and-shoot cameras, but Nikon is trying to catch up with its newest Android-powered point-and-shoot, the Coolpix S800c.
Dubbed as a “social imaging device”, the Gingerbread-powered device features 10x optical zoom, a 16-megapixel sensor, and HD video capturing capabilities. To make use of its Android capabilities, the S800c features a 3.5-in OLED touch screen on the back so users can download and use all kinds of Google Play apps on the device. The device will be sold with a price tag of $349.
