It seems Twitter has chosen to remove any mention of where a tweet was posted from. Twitter’s web client now no longer displays how a tweet was posted, be it from an external app such as Tweetbot or HootSuite or from any internal services as well.
In a move that looks to be enforcing their movement towards blocking third-party apps that replicate its services, could this be a good thing for twitter? It seems like such a heavy-handed approach in forcing developers to either play ball with the company or get out.
