Along with the Samsung Galaxy Note II, Samsung also announced another smartphone under their new ATIV line called the ATIV S.
Not much information was said about the ATIV S except that it will have a 4.8″ Super HD AMOLED display and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It will have HSPA+42 which means the Windows Phone 8 smartphone will not have LTE but it will theoretically have a maximum speed of 42Mbps. It will also have an 8MP rear camera, a 2,300mAh battery, and NFC. From the photos of the device, the ATIV S will also sport a front camera.
The ATIV S is the first third party smartphone announced that will sport Microsoft’s latest mobile OS, Windows Phone 8. The software company recently announced that with the new mobile OS comes new specs to handle the it such as multi-core processors and multiple resolutions.
