While the Nexus 7 Android tablet has yet to be officially released in the Philippines, there is already talk about the 3G version of the device that is set to arrive.
According to Paul O’Brien of Modaco, the 3G version of the Asus-built, Nexus 7 Android tablet will arrive around the 6 week time frame.
There’s not a huge amount to say… a 3G version of the Nexus 7 is coming, with no other hardware changes. Asus is currently ramping production in preparation for launch in around 6 weeks, with the exact launch date and territories still to be confirmed.
While some people are excited about this news, O’Brien hasn’t provided any evidence that supports his claim. As such, as with any other rumor, we take this with a grain of salt until we get more evidence or Asus or Google confirms the new device.
