Twitter has just released a new update that lets users place a header photo on their profiles, not unlike Facebook’s cover photo feature. The header photo will appear on all mobile Twitter apps and twitter.com, which appear above your tweets when people visit your profile.
Twitter is set on its path to redesign itself into every other media company, generating appeal for businesses to personalize their pages to increase viewership. Right now a few NBC accounts have already made use of the new features on their various Twitter accounts.
