HTC has unveiled their newest flagship phone, the Windows Phone 8X. Designed to compliment the Window 8 live tile display, the 8X is what the designers felt a physical live tile would feel like. The 8X will come with a choice of four colors, complimenting the bold Windows 8 colors. California Blue, Flame Red, Limelight Yellow, and Graphite Black with the interface color scheme of the 8X complimenting the hardware color.

Release dates haven’t been clear but a clear consensus is that it ships in early November just after the Windows 8 release. What’s clear is that the 8X will have a 4.3″ 720p super LCD 2 screen running a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and LTE and NFC support.

The cameras included in the 8X are an 8 MP sensor on the back with LED flash and a 2.1 MP front facing camera with a f/2.0 lens capable of 1080p recording. Beats Audio has expressed support for the 8X which has a built-in amplifier to boost sound quality.
