Yesterday, Lenovo launched its new IdeaPad notebooks featuring a sleeker design and upgraded hardware. The IdeaPad S300 and the IdeaPad S400 are thin and light but won’t break the bank.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S300 is the smaller brother of Lenovo’s Sleekbook. It has a 13.3” widescreen display with a 1366×768 resolution. It is sleek with its 21.9mm thickness and only 1.8kgs. It runs on an Intel Pentium CPU. It also comes with 4GB RAM and 500GB of storage. It has an HDMI and USB3.0 ports as well as an Ethernet and two USB 2.0 ports. It even has a 3MP webcam.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S400 basically has the same specs and features of the IdeaPad S300 but with a larger body and a 14” 1366×768 display. The S400 also uses Intel’s 3rd Generation Core i3 processor.
Both IdeaPads incorporate Lenovo’s AccuTouch keyboard which is a derivative of the keyboard of the company’s ThinkPad series. Lenovo is also touting 5 hours of battery life for both machines with Lenovo’s Energy Management. Both come in two stylish colors with the IdeaPad S300 having Cotton Candy Pink and Silvery Grey while the IdeaPad S400 will be available in Crimson Red and Silver Grey.
The IdeaPad S300 and the S400 will be available in the third week of September and will be priced at PhP21,995 and PhP24,995 respectively.
