When Nokia’s Windows 8 Phones were announced, they didn’t mention anything about price. And when it came to availability, all they said was that they would coming before the end of the year.
While the Finnish company isn’t as secretive as the one in Cupertino, it has been pretty quiet since the announcement. Until now. It seem that Nokia Russia is already taking pre-orders for both the Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 which they say will be available in Q4 of 2012. Nokia Germany and Nokia Italy have also announced prices for both phones and will be available in November.
In Russia, the will sold at 24,990 rubles (around $801 or PhP33,430) while the Lumia 820 is priced at 19,990 rubles ($640 or PhP26,710). In Germany the Lumia 920 is priced at 649 euros (PhP35,450) while the Lumia 820 is 599 euros (PhP32,300). In Italy, the Lumia 920 will cost lower than in Germany at 699 euros (PhP35,450).
What we can take out of this is an idea of how much both the Lumai 920 and the Lumia 820 will be sold here in the Philippines unlocked. Basically, we can expect both phones to be comparable in price as with other high-end smartphones. Unfortunately, there is still no word on when both will be available in the local market.
