Lenovo celebrated 20 years of ThinkPad innovation as they unveiled its newest Ultrabook lineup, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and the ThinkPad T430u.

Vicky Agorrilla, Country General Manager, Lenovo Philippines said: “Very few brands are fortunate enough to become an industry icon with loyal fans. Lenovo’s commitment to innovation continues to deliver the best products in the industry and we’re excited to debut our business class Ultrabooks, the ThinkPad T430u and ThinkPad X1 Carbon, the pinnacle of our ongoing quest to push the boundaries on great design and engineering. These products meet the demand for extremely thin and light laptops with the performance users need to accomplish their professional and business goals.”

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is purpose built with the finest materials for business users to ensure maximum performance and durability. Weighing in at less than three pounds, the X1 Carbon is the lightest 14-inch Ultrabook in the market. It achieves this through its carbon fiber rollcage chassis that ensures durability while making it incredibly light. Battery life is estimated at around eight hours more or less depending on use.

The ThinkPad T340u aimed toward small-to-medium business users could be seen as the X1 Carbon’s more cost-effective little brother. It is just as durable and comes with Lenovo’s proprietary SMB solutions suite. It features NVIDIA GeForce graphics and 1TB of storage. Battery life is expected to be at around seven hours or more depending on usage.

Both the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad T430u are now available and start at P94,990 and P61,990 respectively.
