JK Shin, head of Samsung Mobile Communications, confirmed during a Korean press release, that the company would be releasing a 4-inch “mini” version of the Galaxy S III in Germany on October 11th.
Shin has been tight-lipped about any major details, but states that it was influenced by the increasing demand of 4-inch devices in Europe. He also notes that while it may seem like an entry-level move, the mini Galaxy S III will have “full form factor”.
