Lenovo introduces their AMD powered notebooks, IdeaPad S series

It’s a busy year for Lenovo as they introduce a few new AMD powered notebooks – the IdeaPad S205, IdeaPad S206 and IdeaPad S405. They’re light, portable, and packed with features, ready for anything.

The S205, S206 and S405 have the power of a laptop in making them the perfect companion for fashion-loving consumers who are looking for a computing device that’s stylish in design, offers solid performance, and portable, all at an affordable package.”

Features

The IdeaPad S series notebooks feature an ultra-slim design with an AccuType chiclet keyboard. The IdeaPad S205 and S206 both have an 11.6″ HD display with 16:9 widescreens, while the IdeaPad S405 features a 14″ HD display. All three run dual core AMD processors with WiFi capabilities.

The IdeaPad S205 weights at a light 1.35kg at 18mm thin, powered by an AMD E-450 dual core with DDR3 memory and a 320GB HDD. It has HDMI, USB 2.0 connectors and a 6-in-1 card reader. Battery life is expected to last up to 5 hours.

The IdeaPad S206 weighs in at 1.3kg at 20.7mm, powered by an AMD C60 dual core with DDR3 and a 320GB HDD. It has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectors with a 2-in-1 card reader. Battery life is expected to last up to 4 hours.

The IdeaPad S405 weighs in at 1.8kg at 21.9mm, powered by an AMD A8 quad core processor with up to 1TB hard disk storage.

Availability

The IdeaPad S series notebooks are now available at Lenovo Exclusive Stores and authorized resellers. The IdeaPad S205, S206 and S405 are priced at Php19,900, 17,995 and PhP27,995, respectively.
