As the October 26th launch of Windows 8 approaches, Microsoft starts to roll out its massive (and quite expensive) marketing campaign to the world. Rumors are that the campaign will set Microsoft back a hefty $1.5 to $1.8 billion, the biggest launch in the industry. Microsoft is betting big on its newest product with a head-on approach that it hopes will succeed.
Ahead of the October 26th Windows 8 launch, Microsoft has begun to air their advertisements for Windows 8 and the Microsoft Surface tablet. First off is the Windows 8 ad featuring a countdown that stops at eight, with the tagline “Windows reimagined”.
Then we have the Microsoft Surface advertisement featuring clicking sounds of the magnetic keyboard and the tablet’s kickstand.
