ASUS unveils Windows 8 selection locally

Asus has recently unveiled their Windows 8 lineup that includes a bevy of touch-enabled devices such as the VivoTab series, the Taichi, the Zenbook Touch, 11.6 and 14-inch VivoBooks, and the ET2300 AiO PC.

The 11.6-inch VivoBooks are available in an Intel Celeron 847 (P20,995) and Core i3 (P26,995) versions, both with 4GB RAM and 500GB storage space. The 14-inch VivoBook is available in Core i5 (P35,995) with 4GB RAM and 500GB storage space plus 24GB SSD.

The Taichi is a dual display laptop/tablet hybrid with that is available this December for P85,995, which comes with 11.6-inch IPS displays, Core i7 with 4GB RAM and 256GB storage space. The Taichi dual display can be used in four ways, laptop, tablet, mirrored, and dual screens.

The 13.3-inch Zenbook Touch Ultrabook comes in at P42,995 with a Core i7 processor with 4GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

The VivoTab lineup comes in three variations, the VivoTab RT, VivoTab, and VivoTab Smart and come free with 32GB of ASUS WebStorage for 3 years. The 10.1-inch VivoTab Smart also comes with an Intel Atom Z2760 2GB RAM and 64GB of storage, retailing for P25,995. The 10.1-inch VivoTab RT comes with a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage, running Windows 8 RT, retailing at P38,995. The 11.6-inch VivoTab comes with an Intel Atom Z2760, 2GB RAM and 64GB of storage, retailing at P42,995. It also comes with a Wacom Digitizer Stylus. 

The 23″ Full HD ET2300 AiO PC is available for P59,995.
