A few days ago we had heard that Samsung was planning on hiking up Apple A-series chip s used in iOS devices by 20%. Looks like this isn’t true as The Streets is reporting that a Samsung official denied those rumors to Korean newspaper The Hankyoreh. An unnamed official noted that prices were already set at the beginning of the year and cannot be easily changed.

Conflicting reports have been coming in as news of HTC and Apple’s settlement fueled the possibility of a settlement between Apple and Samsung. But it seems this is not the case as we have learned that Samsung will not be engaging in any settlement talks with Apple. The two tech giants have been engaged in a patent war since April 2011, with Apple winning some and Samsung winning some as well.
