Toshiba PC accessories finally enter the Philippine market though their new distributor, EA Global Supply Chain Solutions Inc. The new products that they’ve recently introduces are their line of external HDs, docking stations, projectors, USB flash drives, and a variety of mice.

First off is Toshiba’s Canvio Slim, one of the world’s slimmest and smallest 2.5-inch external HD with a 500GB storage capacity. It measures a slim 8.9mm and comes in a brushed aluminum design in black or silver. Don’t mistake its small size as a compromise as it has a variety of proprietary software such as NTI Backup Now EZ, for easy backups and password protection. It uses a USB 3.0 interface for fast data transfers while still backwards compatible for legacy devices. Mac users need not worry as it comes with a NTFS driver so you can access your files on a PC or a Mac.

Toshiba also offers a variety of other Canvio portable drives such as the Canvio 3.0 and Canvio Basics 3.0 that come in 500GB and 1TB models. The Canvio 3.0 comes with most of the software included in the Canvio Slim, but in a larger body. If you are looking for something even more portable, Toshiba offers their ultra small 256GB SSD that fits snugly in your pocket, great for quick data transfers. Toshiba also offers a variety of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 flash drives in normal sizes and mini sizes.

For large storage capacities, Toshiba offers their line of desktop hard drives and personal cloud hard drive. They’re available in 2TB and 3TB varieties and are bundled with proprietary software to ensure reliability and security. The Canvio Personal Cloud Hard Drive lets you access your data through the cloud wherever you are, all available without a subscription fee.

For those who want to connect your laptop to various PC peripherals, but still retain easy portability, the Dynadock U3.0 Universal USB Connect Docking Station is for you. All your devices connect to the Dynadock and connect to your laptop through a single USB 3.0 cable. The Dynadock expands your connectivity with 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet port, DVI slot, HDMI slot, 5.1 Channel audio output, mic-in, and headphone jack.

Toshiba updates their projector lineup with the short throw NPX20B, the NPS10A and NPX10A series, and the ultra portable LED SDW30.

Toshiba says that the products are coming to the country soon and we’ll update you once we get a hold of pricing for these external HDs and other peripherals.
