Smart will be bringing in some of the country’s first LTE (Long Term Evolution) handsets, the Sony Xperia V and ZTE T82, which can be pre-ordered via LTE is the latest telecommunication standard for high-speed data transfers and is several times faster than 3G and HSPA+.

The Sony Xperia V or the ZTE T82 come free at LTE Plan 1500, which is bundled with unlimited data, 120 SMS and 60 voice minutes.

The Sony Xperia V sports a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, running Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich). It features a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720) HD display and has a 13MP camera. The ZTE T82 is just as powerful, using a 1.5GHz dual-core as well, with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, also running Android 4.0 ICS. You can try out these devices which are on display at the Jump Experience Center in SM Megamall Cyberzone.

Smart had launched their LTE service back in August with up to 42Mbps speeds on dongles and pocket WiFis.
