Globe offers Huawei Ascend P1 LTE as its first LTE handset

Globe has announced that it will be offering the Huawei Ascend P1 LTE as its first LTE handset for consumers. The Huawei Ascend P1 LTE will be available for free at Globe’s Unli Surf 1799 that comes with unlimited data usage, P800 monthly consumable for call and text, and three call and text freebies that can be changed monthly.

Globe will also be offering the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE, ZTE T81 and other LTE-enabled phones as more Globe LTE sites pop up.

To get these LTE-enabled devices, you’ll need to get a Globe LTE SIM which are available at Globe Concept stores in Glorietta, Greenbelt, Rockwell, and Ayala Triangle. You can trade in your regular Globe SIM for an LTE SIM for free when you avail of the LTE phones.

The Huawei Ascend has a 4.3-inch super AMOLED display, powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 processor with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, an 8MP camera, WiFi and Bluetooth.
