Instagram, not to be left behind, has released the 3.2 update for their iOS camera app. The update improves the camera and includes a new filter, “Willow”, and other features. The camera gets a redesign with an Instagram-themed shutter button, recent photo previews on the camera roll, improved camera roll for iPhone 5 users, grid guides for live photos and photo editing.

The new filter “Willow” is a monochrome filter that adds subtle purple tones and a translucent white border. Willow is available on both iOS and Android releases so get updating.

Instagram has also improved their tilt-shift photo capturing. Previously, the blur in the preview screen and the output were vastly different, but now are more accurate. Their blur algorithms have been overhauled, increasing quality and accuracy.
