Apple could be releasing its next-generation iPhone 5S in June with a super HD camera/screen, a better battery, NFC, and between six to eight colors like the iPod Touch rather than the usual black and white. This prediction comes from Jefferies & Company analyst Peter Misek who had predicted the iPhone 4S when everyone was predicting an iPhone 5 back in May 2011. Rumors of the iPhone 5S have been making the rounds as Apple was said to have “accelerated the certification processes for related parts and components for the iPhone 5S” as well as a few Chinese Apple suppliers expecting good first-quarter earnings.
If the iPhone 5S does get a June release, Apple would be returning to the same release cycle as the iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 as compared to the fall release of the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5.
