Want to watch YouTube on your TV and use your phone or tablet as a remote? Well now you can as YouTube introduces a mobile/TV pairing feature at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES). New devices from Sony, Panasonic, LG, and Bang & Olufsen will be the first to feature YouTube’s “send to TV” feature which sends the video to your TV and turns your Android phone or tablet into a handy YouTube remote.

This new feature builds on YouTube’s previous upgrade that let users push videos on their Android devices onto Google TV-equipped TVs which worked like Apple’s Air Play. Sony, Panasonic, LG, and Bang & Olufsen are set to reveal their YouTube friendly TVs and devices at CES next week according to a company blog post. Once YouTube is pushed to the TV set, it will utilize its own look and feel to fully utilize the big screen. The company has not said if this function will be available in older TVs but it should be clarified in Las Vegas.

Later this year Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, Vizio, Western Digital and others will also share their YouTube friendly devices.
