A newcomer to the PC market, Vizio has released its first Windows 8 tablet. The company has unveiled the 11.6-inch Vizio Tablet PC that runs full Windows 8 not the RT version. It packs a dual-core 1GHz AMD Z60 processor, making it one of the first Windows 8 tablets running AMD chips. A standout feature is the tablet’s 1080p display, not something normally seen on a low-speed tablet. It runs on 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD, 2MP front camera and micro-HDMI and micro USB ports. Like Vizio’s other offerings, it comes with Microsoft Signature, which removes the bloatware usually associated with OEM installs of Windows. No word on pricing or availability yet though but it looks promising.
