Looks awfully familiar doesn’t it, could it possibly be the next Apple device? Nope, it’s the first look we’re getting at the HTC M7 flagship device that could be taking over the One X. The folks at Unwired View managed to get a render of the M7 that’s part of a short animation clip on first-time SIM card installation. It lacks any identifying marks though so it might not be the final design HTC’s going to bust out at the Mobile World Congress next month.

The M7 is rumored to have a 4.7-inch, full HD display and a 1.7GHz quad-core processor. It’s also rumored to come with a 13MP camera with super slow-motion and HDR video recording running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Other than that, its said that the screen will have a higher pixel density than the iPhone 5, giving sharper images and supposedly an IR port that could turn your phone into a high-end universal remote.

HTC’s recent agreement with Apple may have something to do with its minimalist Apple-esque look, though there’s still time for it to change before MWC.
