Looks like the rumors were true, Apple has just released a new 4th generation 128GB iPad with Retina display. The iPad with Wi-Fi will cost $799, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular will be $929 a pop. The new iPad isn’t available just yet, but the company says it’ll start selling in the Apple Online Store on February 5th. With such a price tag, one wonders who could benefit from the gigantic 9.7-inch Retina display and 128GB of storage. From the release, Apple seems to think that power users working with large AutoCad files or multitrack music files could benefit the larger screen and extra storage.
