With the release of iOS 6.1, Globe has also begun to offer LTE for its iPhone 5 subscribers. Globe subscribers can now access speeds of up to 42 Mbps in LTE-enabled areas without having to upgrade your plans or pay extra. All you need to do is make sure your iPhone 5 is on iOS 6.1 and using an LTE Nano-SIM that you can get from Globe.

As of January, Globe’s LTE services are available in Makati, Manila, Pasig City, Quezon City, Taguig City, Muntinlupa, Mandaluyong, Cebu City, and Boracay. Globe will continue rolling out its LTE services in large, contiguous areas in the near future.
