RIM CEO Thorsten Heins kicks off the BlackBerry 10 launch with a bang. He has announced that RIM will now be known as BlackBerry, in an effort to unify the brand across its products into one consistent entity.
“It is one brand. It is one promise. Our customers use BlackBerry. Our employees work for BlackBerry, and our shareholders are owners of BlackBerry. From today on, we are BlackBerry everywhere in the world.” according to BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins.
