Windows Phone 7.8 finally rolls out

Rejoice Lumia users, as Microsoft finally rolls out its Windows 7.8 update for your devices. It’s got a bunch of new UI tweaks and features for the Lumia 510, 610, 710, 800, and 900 family. You can now customize your home screen and lock screen, while resizing your Live Tiles. There’s also WiFi tethering, Bluetooth sharing, and a bunch of new apps such as Camera Extras, Contact Share, Play To, and Nokia City Lens.

To update your device by simply connect your phone to your computer via Zune for PC, or the Windows Phone app for Mac and follow the instructions and you’re all set. Nokia is rolling out the update in batches through February so don’t worry if you don’t get it yet.
