Initially, Instagram’s image feed had been on mobile devices, but now web users can interact with its content in the same way as it introduces a full image feed for desktop browsers. You can now browse through your feed in your browser as if you were scrolling through your smartphone. Now when you log-in to, you can see all of the photos from your feed, like photos by double clicking, and taking advantage of inline commenting.

Ever since the company had been adopted by Facebook, they have slowly increased their web presence because “We believe that you should be able to access Instagram on a variety of different devices, any of which may be convenient to you at a given moment” according to Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom. However, image uploads are still relegated to the mobile as Instagram is all about producing on-the-go according to Systrom. The web feed is there to make the browsing experience fast, simple, and enjoyable.
