It looks like HTC’s newest flagship phone will be called the HTC One, not the M7 that had been previously mentioned. This new peek at the HTC One, days ahead of its probable debut at MWC is courtesy of EvLeaks. EvLeaks has been the source of many pre-release Android news so this image render should be pretty accurate. The render image looks quite similar to other leaked images but has an active home screen. The new HTC Sense 5.0 seems to have borrowed some design influence from Windows Phone OS with a grid/tile interface that can be filled up with social media information. One noteworthy feature seems to be that there are only a home and back button, missing the usual app switcher button.
A quick glance at the HTC One, it looks like a mix between an iPhone 5’s chamfered edges and BlackBerry’s new Z10 smartphone with its top and bottom panels. Rumored specs for the HTC One are a 4.7-inch, full HD display with a 1.7GHz quad-core processor and 32GB storage. It’s also rumored to run on Android 4.2 overlaid with Sense 5.0.
