Looks like another bug has been found on Apple’s latest iOS update. Some users have discovered a vulnerability in iOS 6.1 that be used to bypass the iPhone lockscreen. The hack itself is quite complicated, but once completed, it can access the phone app, including contact info, as well as photos stored on the device. Apple is aware of the vulnerability is working to quickly fix the problem. In a statement given to AllThingsD, an Apple spokesperson has said that “Apple takes user security very seriously” and that “we are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update.” No word on when this update will arrive, but it should be pretty soon since Apple had quickly released iOS 6.1.1 a few days ago to fix another bug, while it works with Microsoft to fix issues over Exchange.
