It seems rumors of when Samsung would be unveiling its next-generation Galaxy device are true. It’s official, Samsung will be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S IV at its March 14th event in New York City. “We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York),” Samsung Electronics’ mobile division chief JK Shin told Edaily news. “As we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country.” Details are sparse, but you can catch a live stream of the event on March 14, 2013, 19:00 EST at www.youtube.com/SamsungMobile.
So let’s recap what the Galaxy S IV is supposed to have under the hood. It’s said that it will be rolling out with Samsung’s new Exynos 5 Octa (8-core) CPU, a Mali-T678 (8-core) GPU, a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, and 2GB of RAM. It’s got a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera and will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Beat out of the box.
