Blackberry has recently unveiled its newest operating system, Blackberry 10, and now the company brings in its new flagship device, the Z10 smartphone to the Philippines. The first device to run on the new operating system, the Z10 forgoes Blackberry’s usual physical keyboard for a 4.2-inch screen. Sporting a 1280 x 768 touch display, the Z10 runs on a dual-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage expandable up to 64GB through a microSD slot. Imaging is handled by an 8MP, 1080p rear camera and a 2MP 720p front camera. It’s also got the usual GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and also has NFC and LTE capabilities.
The Blackberry Z10 will be available in the Philippines starting on March 19th, though you can start reserving them via the buybb10.com site. When it goes on sale the Z10 will have an SRP of Php 29,990. According to Blackberry, it has partnered with the three major carriers and each will be revealing their plans in the following days.
