Nokia Philippines has announced that Czech native Karel Holub has been appointed as its new General Manager, alongside the release of its flagship Lumia 920, capping off the Lumia lineup in the country. Karel has been in the telecommunications industry for sixteen years, eight of which were spent at Nokia. The company also announces its exclusive partnership with Smart Communications to carry Nokia’s high-end smartphones.

Nokia’s flagship device sports a 4.5-inch screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. As it is with the Lumia lineup, it sports an 8.7-megapixel camera and runs on Windows Phone 8.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is currently exclusive to Smart subscribers on the networks’ high-end plans. Available in red, yellow, white, and black, the Lumia 920 will retail for Php 26,990 in Nokia stores and Smart Business Centers nationwide.
