Jabra has been in the business of wireless audio solutions for quite a while now and it has released a few new gadgets for the Philippines, namely the Jabra Motion UC headset and the Jabra Speak 510 speakerphone. The Motion headset is one of the first headsets in the market to feature NFC capabilities, while the Speak 510 expands on Jabra’s speakerphone portfolio with both Bluetooth and wired capabilities. Mobility is becoming more and more important in the workplace and Jabra is looking to help you multi-task wherever you are.
The Jabra Motion UC headset features a curved “behind the ear” design so that it sits comfortably on your ear and sports a folding boom arm to increase portability. The headset has a couple of built-in sensors that adjusts to your movement and the surrounding noise, automatically answering your call when you pick up the Motion UC. Range is quite important for these headsets and the Motion has a range of 10 meters through a regular Bluetooth connection and up to 100 meters through the included USB adapter. It’s got Voice Controls, easy to access buttons, and a busylight LED indicator. Ears are all different and Jabra understands this, as such the speaker house is fully adjustable so that it fits snugly in your ear. Battery life is rated at 7 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby.
The Jabra Motion UC is available in two variants, the standard version that comes with a USB adapter and a carrying pouch available for $199 (roughly Php 8,150) or a version that comes with a Travel & Charge Kit for $219 (roughly Php 8,960).
The Jabra Speak 510 builds on its award-winning predecessor the Speak 410 and adds Bluetooth capabilities along with the usual wired connection. With its omnidirectional microphone, the Speak 510 can turn any room into a conference room. It will retail for $149 (roughly Php 6,070), while the Speak 510+ comes with a dongle to extend the range from the source to around 100 meters for $179 (roughly Php 7,300).
Targeted at the mobile worker, both the Jabra Motion UC and Jabra Speak 510 will both be available in April this year.
