Huawei unveils dual core Ascend Y300

Chinese manufacturer Huawei has unveiled its latest offering for those looking for a high-quality pocket-friendly smartphone with the Ascend Y300.

Meant to be a premium entry-level device, the phone features a 1GHz dual core Qualcomm processor, a 4-inch IPS LCD screen protected with Gorilla Glass, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Huawei has added its own touches to the devices, such as Battery Boost which increases the lifespan of its 1730 mAh battery and Huawei’s own Emotion user interface, the company’s own Android overlay.

The latest affordable member of the Huawei Ascend family is available at the affordable Php 5,490 in all Huawei dealers and retailers nationwide.

“By making everything smooth, latest, and powerpacked, the Ascend Y300 increases the level of satisfaction felt to an entry-level smartphones. Anyone would be surprised and happy by Huawei Ascend Y300’s solid and premium feel,” according to Johnson Ma, Country Manager of Huawei Device Philippines.
