Apple has announced an improved Mid-2013 Macbook Air lineup which features up to 12 hours of battery life for 13-inch models and 9 hours for 11-inch models. The new lineup highlights its upgraded Intel Haswell processor as the major contributor to the extended battery life as well as more efficient and faster processing. It also comes with a new PCIe-based Flash storage which replaces the preview SATA-based SSD. The new storage provides up to 800 MB/s read and write times.
Another ‘power’ feature for the new Macbook Airs is the support for the new ‘Gigabit WiFi’ 802.11ac specification which allows for speeds as much as three times faster than current 802.11n wireless specifications.
Pricing for the 11-inch models start at PhP46,990, while 13-inch models start at PhP51,990.
