CloudFone launches four Intel-based tablets

CloudFone has launched three Intel-based tablets which includes the CloudPad One 7.0, CloudPad Epic 7.1, CloudPad Epic 8.9 and CloudPad Epic 8.0 at the R Space Events Venue in Makati City.

Gracing the event were CloudFone President & CEO Eric Yu, Intel Philippines Country Manager Calum Chisholm and Microsoft Philippines Director for Consumer Business Jerry Bongco.

CloudPad One 7.0


According to CloudFone, the seven-inch CloudPad One 7.0 tablet is the first ever Intel-based Android Lollipop 5.0 device to be introduced in Asia. The said tablet is the result of the close collaboration between CloudFone and partners such as Intel.

In terms of specs, the CloudPad One 7.0 runs on the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 OS and it is powered by a 1.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Atom. The company goes on by saying that the CloudPad One 7.0 has 8GB of memory as well as 1GB of RAM to store photos, videos, games and other applications.

With this, CloudFone President & CEO Eric Yu said that the company intends to bring the latest technology within people’s reach.

CloudPad Epic 7.1 and CloudPad Epic 8.9


The CloudPad Epic 7.1 and Epic 8.9 are two new tablets with the company’s “crossover technology” which allows users to run both Android 4.4 Kikat and Windows 8.1. Through CloudFone’s “crossover technology,” users can experience the multimedia features of Android as well as the applications of Microsoft Office 365.


CloudFone said that both tablets have a 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing cameras. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Atom Processor. To be more precise, the CloudPad Epic 7.1 has a seven-inch high definition display along with 32GB memory plus 1GB of RAM. On the other hand, the CloudPad Epic 8.9 has an 8.9-inch full high definition display as well as 32GB memory and 2GB of RAM.

CloudPad Epic 8.0


The CloudPad Epic 8.0 runs on Windows 8.1 and it is powered by a 1.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Atom processor. It has 16GB of memory and 1GB of RAM. The CloudPad Epic 8.0 comes in yellow, red and blue for users who value style.
